Dar es Salaam, September 25, 2019: Tanzania’s fastest-growing Bank, FINCA Microfinance Bank and the Sustaining Health Outcomes through the Private Sector (SHOPS), a USAID’s flagship initiative in private sector health has signed a contract in a partnership that will enable FINCA to lend small loans of from TZS 500,000 to TZS 5,000,000 to a more than 1,000 dispensers who are under SHOPS plus project named Accredited Drug Dispensing Outlet(ADDO’s).

The signing of the contract was done at FINCA Microfinance Bank headquarters, Victoria Tan house building 8th floor – by FINCA’s CEO Mr Edward Talawa and Maureen Ogada-Ndekana, the Chief of Party for the SHOPS Plus project in Tanzania. , both parties’ representatives witnessed the signings.

FINCA and SHOPS plus will first partner in – ADDOs project, a private pharmaceutical business that also includes community pharmacies in coastal Region that covers Mkuranga, Kibiti, Rufiji, Mafia, Kisarawe, Kibaha TC, Kibaha DC and Chalinze.
